Wireless Adapter Drivers For Dell Laptops

Recommended for IT Administrators. Includes driver-only and Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software distribution packages.

Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6200 customers:
This version of the driver and software does not support your adapter. Please use the 13.5 version of the driver and software instead.

Purpose:
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software is recommended for large corporations, universities and medical centers. Smaller organizations may also find the installation and deployment features useful.

Confused about what to download?
Home users: This software is not recommended for Home users. The following links are recommended for Home users.

Automatically detect and update your drivers and software with the Intel Driver Update Utility.
Manually identify your Intel® wireless adapter and driver version number.

Which file should you download?
Confirm that you have Windows 7 32-Bit* Operating System. After selecting download from this page and accepting the end user license agreement, you will be prompted with a popup menu.

ICS_Ds32.zip – this is a compressed package which includes all files required to install the wireless adpter drivers only. The ZIP package allows you to extract the drivers for installation on multiple systems.

ICS_s32.zip – this is a compressed package which includes all files required to install the wireless adapter drivers and PROSet/Wireless Software on a Windows 7 32-Bit system. The ZIP package allows you to extract the drivers and software for installation on multiple systems.

How to install:
ICS_Ds32.zip: Download to a folder on your PC. Use a 3rd party unzip application to open ICS_Ds32.zip and unzip the contents.

ICS_s32.zip: Download to a folder on your PC. Use a 3rd party unzip application to open ICS_s32.zip and unzip the contents.

Review information for IT Administrators on installation options including silent install.

Additional Notes:
Features removed from this version:
Wake on Wireless LAN is not present in this version of the application.

Intel® Wireless Display Customers:
Intel® My WiFi Technology is now installed by default. Because of this, Intel® Wireless Display users no longer need to install a special version of Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility.

How to update your software:
1. Close the Intel® Wireless Display Software.
2. Install the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software.
3. Install the Intel® Wireless Display Software.

Intel® Wireless Display requires one of the following products:
-Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205
-Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230
-Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030
-Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150

Intel® My WiFi Technology requires one of the following products:
-Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205
-Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230
-Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030
-Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150

OEM Supplied Versus Intel Provided Generic Software:

Intel recommends that you obtain and use the software provided via your laptop manufacturer.
