Right out of the box, here are the best apps to use one your phone:
Go to the Google Play Store on your android phone
- Juice Defender – install the free version, set to balanced and done. Double your battery. It will make you wait up to 15 minutes to get an email but well worth getting the battery to last 2x as long. If you need to stream apps and keep things running while the phone is in your pocket shell for the paid version and customize the settings and apps
- DropBox – setup a free account on your computer then d/l the app to your phone and every picture, document, video you take will sync to your computer and be backed up for you at dropbox
- Opera mini browser (or Dolphin) – better browsing on the phone
Nothing crazy, should take about 15 minutes to do everything and you’ll have a better phone and experience. There are many more to go full pimp, but these are 3 lightweight great apps to get you going right out of the box.
